" Empowering women is the key to building a future we want."

-Amartya Sen

In celebration of Women’s month, Xillium hosted a virtual meeting that discussed women's rights, support systems, and programs that address women's issues and concerns in the Philippines. Many attendees, particularly women, wore purple which represents women's empowerment and gender equality. Kingslee Opulencia Cruz, our Human Resources Director, led the talk by delving deep into gender issues, sharing his knowledge and insights on the rights of women and the different types of issues they face, providing us with legally available information.

The Women's Month Celebration in the Philippines has highlighted women's accomplishments and discussed ongoing and emerging women's empowerment, gender equality issues, concerns, challenges, and commitments.

Before concluding the lecture, Kingslee opened the floor to questions. Many of the attendees took advantage of the opportunity to seek insights and advice. Our female employees make up a large portion of our workforce here at Xillium. Our President and CEO, Vanessa Belleza, has paved the way for other female employees through her leadership and dedication.

Gender equality entails equal access to resources and opportunities for all our staff. We value our employees by investing in growing their skills and the potential they need to become the leaders and innovators they were born to be.
