Bacolod earned its moniker, the City of Smiles, after the success of the first MassKara Festival in 1980. It also helps that they are known for their friendly and cheerful people.

Celebrated annually in the month of October, this event brings in guests from other regions and countries. Featuring  the local delicacy through food fairs, mask-making contests, brass band competitions, beauty and talent pageants, windsurfing, drinking and eating contests, trade fairs, and exhibits. At the climax of the event is a carnival of the locals adorned in smiling masks and costumes, creating a spectacular vibrant mix of dance, color, and music.

The Masskara festival represents the spirit of the locals and the smiling masks are a declaration of the people to their city that they will overcome and survive the challenges and tragedies that they are facing.

In a city brimming with health professionals, we've placed our third satellite office in Bacolod in the hopes that we can bring their culture to the company.
